Zionist Settlers Attack House in Turmus Ayya North of Ramallah, among Assaults in Occupied West Bank

Israeli settlers attacked a house in the town of Turmus Ayya north of occupied Ramallah on Sunday, according to local sources.

The sources reported that colonists from the Shilo settlement, established on the town’s lands, attacked the home of the Abu Awwad family, with no injuries or property damage reported.

The attacks on the family’s house have continued recently, aiming to impose a forced isolation on them.

Israeli occupation forces have been leveling lands, plowing thousands of dunams, and uprooting more than 4,000 olive trees around the Abu Awwad family home over the past three months to expand a nearby settlement outpost west of the town.

Israeli colonists on Sunday also grazed their sheep on Palestinian agricultural lands in the village of Yabrud, east of Ramallah, causing damage to crops and property.

Colonist attacks on Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank have escalated in recent years, including assaults on homes, schools, and farmland, often accompanied by property damage and intimidation. Human rights groups report that such violence is part of a broader campaign aimed at displacing Palestinian residents and consolidating settlement expansion in occupied territories.
