Head of Hezbollah’s Juristic Council Sheikh Mohammad Yazbek issued a message of condolence on the passing of Sayyed Abdulkarim Nasrallah, praising his life of faith, wisdom, and moral leadership.

In his message, Sheikh Yazbek said, “We bid farewell to a noble father, Sayyed Abdulkarim Nasrallah (may God sanctify his soul). As the Quran says, “Those whom the angels take while they are good [in conduct], they will say, ‘Peace be upon you; enter Paradise for what you used to do.'”

Sheikh Yazbek described the martyr Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah as a compassionate, faithful, and wise father who guided his family in steadfast devotion to God. He emphasized that Sayyed Abdulkarim consistently nurtured his loved ones according to the principles of faith, citing the Quranic guidance: “And who turns away from the religion of Abraham except one who errs in his soul?”

He further noted that Nasrallah exemplified loyalty to God and the righteous, following the principle: “Your ally is none but God, His Messenger, and those who believe… and indeed, the party of God are the victorious.”

Sheikh Yazbek highlighted that Sayyed Abdulkarim succeeded in raising a family illuminated by the legacy of the “master of the martyrs of the nation”—Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah—whose life has been devoted to truth and justice, fearing only God while confronting the enemies of faith.

“He refused to abandon Imam Hussein (A.S.), fighting with unwavering conviction in the presence of the Imam, for every day is Ashura and every land is Karbala,” Sheikh Yazbek said.

The statement added that this greatness is the inheritance of Sayyid Abdulkarim’s upbringing. He remains “a father to the martyrs,” whose hands and cheeks are kissed in reverence, celebrated for the legacy he leaves behind. The faithful await reunion with him, rejoicing in God’s blessings, as the Quran affirms: “They will have no fear, nor will they grieve.”

Sheikh Yazbek concluded by extending condolences to all those who mourn, to the Nasrallah family, and to the children of the party and Islamic resistance, affirming enduring confidence in forthcoming victory and divine relief. He prayed that God grant Sayyid Abdulkarim an honorable place among the righteous:

“Peace be upon you the day you were born, the day you passed, and the day you are resurrected alive. Congratulations on your seat of truth before the Almighty.”
