Brigadier General Yadollah Javani, Deputy for Political Affairs of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), announced on Wednesday that Iran has previously confronted “the Americans in wars lasting 12 and 40 days, as well as the 17-day ‘Battle of Hormuz.'”
In this context, he emphasized that “the use of heavy bombs will not achieve the Americans’ objectives and will only lead them to regret their actions.”
He added, “We have not yet utilized our full capabilities; we hold cards that have not yet been revealed, whereas the Americans have already played all of theirs.”
He further explained that “security arrangements for the Strait of Hormuz must be established through an understanding between Iran and the Sultanate of Oman,” adding that “the ‘Axis of Resistance’ must be a party to any final agreement to end the war.”
Furthermore, he stressed that “Yemen, Gaza, and Lebanon are ‘red lines,’ and the Resistance cannot be excluded from any agreement to end the war,” asserting that “the Americans and Europeans must compel the Zionist entity to halt the war in Lebanon.”
He also stated that one of the conditions for ending the war is the permanent removal of foreign forces from the Persian Gulf, noting that “Iran is victorious and possesses the strength and capacity to dictate its terms and secure the rights of its people.”
He declared that “the absence of foreign forces from the Persian Gulf and its surrounding nations will be a defining feature of the post-war era.”
Separately, he noted that “Iran has no issue with the countries of the region or their peoples; rather, its objection lies in the enemy’s use of their territories against us,” adding that “the era of American presence in West Asia—particularly in the Persian Gulf—has come to an end.”
He affirmed that “Iran is prepared to establish a collective security framework with the countries of the region, in a manner that serves the interests of their respective peoples.”
