The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced in a statement a large-scale, qualitative military operation “And Allah is More Severe in Might and More Severe in Punishment” along several fronts, to expel the Saudi mobilizations from several districts of the western coast that commit the most heinous crimes against civilians and seek to bring Yemeni territory under Saudi occupation and control.
What follows is the full text of the statement:
As part of striking the mobilizations of the criminal Saudi enemy, confronting its blatant aggression, and its ongoing unjust blockade of our dear people for twelve years, aimed at dissuading them from their legitimate demands and honorable positions in support of the oppressed Palestinian people;
And with the continued attacks by forces affiliated with the Saudi enemy against the people, villages, and districts of the western coast over the past years, and their escalation in recent months, amid repeated calls by the people of those areas for our fighting army to move to support them and lift the injustice inflicted upon them;
The Yemeni Armed Forces, with the help of Allah the Almighty and with the large-scale participation of our free people and their free tribes, launched, on September 3 of this year, the large-scale, qualitative military operation “And Allah is More Severe in Might and More Severe in Punishment” along several fronts, to expel the Saudi mobilizations from several districts of the western coast that commit the most heinous crimes against civilians and seek to bring Yemeni territory under Saudi occupation and control.
The operation was crowned with success and divine support, despite the heavy air cover provided by the Saudi enemy in support of its mobilizations. However, thanks to Allah, it failed to affect the operation, which achieved the following results:
First: The expulsion of the Saudi enemy’s mobilizations from six districts in Taiz and Al-Hudaydah Governorates, covering a total area of 5,400 square kilometers, which have become, thanks to Allah, safe and stable.
Second: Striking seven military divisions belonging to the Saudi enemy’s mobilizations, comprising 38 military brigades, and killing, capturing, and wounding hundreds of their personnel.
Third: The liberation of a number of our dear captives who had been held by Saudi enemy mercenaries for years on the western coast.
Fourth: The Armed Forces successfully carried out 32 operations to repel Saudi warplanes and shot down nine aircraft.
Salutations to our great fighting army for its jihad and great sacrifices in the cause of Allah, in defense of our people and country. Full salutations to our dear, believing and fighting people and their free tribes for the support and assistance they provide to the Armed Forces in the battle for liberation and independence and the restoration of national sovereignty, and for the high level of awareness they have demonstrated in confronting the false propaganda and media disinformation practiced by the enemy throughout the past days.
The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that maritime navigation is safe for all companies, with the exception of Saudi vessels, which were previously declared subject to a ban, and that they will continue to establish the equation of blockade for blockade, strike the Saudi enemy’s mobilizations, and escalate in response to escalation, until the aggression ceases and the blockade on our dear people is lifted.
