Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army said Friday they carried out fresh drone strikes targeting US military installations in Kuwait, saying the attacks hit bases, equipment depots and personnel facilities as part of ongoing operations.

In separate statements, the IRGC and the Iranian Army said the attacks were conducted in response to the continued US aggression on the Islamic Republic, with the IRGC announcing a strike on the Ali Al-Salem Air Base and the Iranian Army reporting attacks on multiple US camps across Kuwait.

The IRGC said it targeted “a very large ammunition depot at the American base, Ali al-Salem,” using “advanced, super-heavy suicide drones,” saying the site “was completely destroyed in successive explosions.”

It added that “hangars housing personnel at this base were attacked,” saying “six large hangars were completely destroyed, and three others were severely damaged,” in the 27th wave of Operation Nasr-2. It added that “a large number of enemy personnel were killed and wounded.”

The Iranian Army, in a separate statement, said it struck “US military equipment depots at Camp Udayri, the US military base at Camp Doha, and the enemy’s base at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait,” using Arash suicide drones. It said the attacks were part of the “25th phase of Operation Saeqeh.”

Both statements indicated that the operations are ongoing. The IRGC said “punitive operations against the aggressors are ongoing,” while the army said “the series of intensive drone and missile operations continues in response to the enemy’s malicious actions.”

The IRGC statement also accused the United States of concealing casualties, saying Washington is “falsely claiming” lower losses and calling on American media to “investigate the facts of this war” and uncover “the true numbers and the methods of censorship.”

For its part, the Iranian Army warned against further escalation, saying that “any unwise adventure and the opening of a new front… will only lead to the enemy’s disgrace,” adding that threats from the US president “only strengthen the resolve and determination” of Iran’s armed forces.
