The Lebanese army intelligence managed on Friday to arrest IN Arsal the terrorist, Ahmad Mohammad Ammoun, who used to smuggle ISIL militants and amounts of money to the takfiri groups’ commanders in the towns’ outskirts.
According to well-informed sources, Ammoun was had links to terrorist cells that used to smuggle money from Beirut to ISIL terrorists in Arsal barrens.
The Lebanese army intelligence also arrested in Taalabeya in Bekaa the terrorist, Hussein Mahmoud Al-Hujairi, who belongs to Nusra Front militant group.
The sources added that Al-Hujairi participated in Nusra attacks in Arsal on army patrol in 2013 and on the police station in 2014 and in kidnapping 30 Lebanese servicemen.
30 army soldiers and policemen were kidnapped in 2014 during a deadly attack launched by Nusra Front and ISIL terrorist groups on the northeastern border town of Arsal.
16 servicemen, who had been arrested by Nusra, were liberated in December 2015. However, 9 others are still kidnapped by ISIL.
It is worth noting that Nusra terrorists have also executed a number of servicemen in the context of their criminal propaganda.
