Two Israeli soldiers were killed and several were injured when an Israeli helicopter crashed in the southern Gaza Strip early Wednesday.
Israeli occupation military described the incident as accident, Israeli media reported.
According to an initial Israeli Air Force probe, a UH-60 Black Hawk from the 123rd Squadron flew to Rafah with a Unit 669 medical team on Tuesday night to evacuate a combat engineer seriously wounded in fighting in the area.

The occupation army claimed that the helicopter didn’t land correctly in an Israeli army encampment in Rafah and that it “was not hit by enemy fire,” according to the probe.
“It appears that the crash was not caused by enemy fire, and the cause is still being investigated,” the probe read.
In all, two soldiers were killed and another eight were taken to hospitals, four of them in serious condition, The Times of Israel quoted the occupation military as saying.
