Head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council Sayyed Hashem Safeiddine said it is right that Hezbollah adopts decent discourse, but stressed that the Lebanese resistance movement is strong enough to defend the rights of its people.
In remarks during a memorial service of one of Hezbollah members in south Lebanon , Sayyed Safeiddine said enemies have put their capabilities to drag Lebanon into sedition, noting, however, that the Resistance along with its supporters stood firm and foiled such scheme.
“Despite all forms of lies fabricated on Hezbollah by the embassies, we are always committed to a quite rhetoric aimed at de-escalation,” Sayyed Safeiddine said in remarks carried by Al-Manar on Sunday.
“If some (rivals) relies on our morals, I tell them: Yes, we are decent, but we are strong enough to defend our rights and our people.”
