The Zionist incoming prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Al-Arabiya News Channel that he does not intend to revoke the maritime deal with Lebanon, hiding the reason represented by the fear of a military confrontation with Hezbollah.
In an interview, Netanyahu contradicted all his electoral promises to undo the US-brokered deal, knowing that he also accused the outgoing PM Yair Lapid of subjecting to Hezbollah threats.
In October, 2022, Lebanon and the Zionist entity approved two separate letters sent to the United Nations to delineate the Lebanese-Palestinian maritime borders after indirect talks brokered by the US administrations accompanied by Hezbollah verbal and practical threats.
Netanyahu’s interview with the Saudi Channel also carried messages that included the intention to conclude a normalization agreement between ‘Israel’ and KSA recalled the coordination between the two sides against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
