The Lebanese Army has raided the Syrian refugee encampments in Baalbek and arrested 103 Syrians for not having legal papers and confiscated 9 motorbikes, the Army said in a statement on Tuesday.

"We are worried that there are more terrorists, so the Lebanese army is searching the area," said Bashir Matar, mayor of Al-Qaa which was struck by the terrorist attacks.

Five people were killed and 15 wounded when four suicide bombers attacked the village before dawn on Monday.

A second wave of attacks hit Al-Qaa on Monday night. Another four suicide bombers wounded 13 people.

"The army has deployed a large force to Masharia Al-Qaa and is carrying out widespread searches in the displacement camps, looking for weapons or wanted people," the state National News Agency reported.

The Lebanese Defense and Interior ministers inspected the area before the government held a session and issued a statement in which it stressed that all Lebanese are concerned with protecting al-Qaa as a main part of the country.
