Abdallah’s family and friends took part in the protest, as well as public and political parties’ delegations, including Hezbollah, Communist Party, and Murabitun movement.

Protestors, who blocked Sodeco Street in the Lebanese capital, and tossed eggs and tomatoes at the French embassy, called for the release of Abdallah, and demanded the state to intervene in order to close this file.

During the gathering, an audio message from Abdallah was broadcast, in which he requested protestors to remain firm in their stance and not retreat.

Abdallah also hailed, in his message, the Lebanese resistance and all the resistance movements against Israel.
