Representatives of the two sides held their 29th dialogue session at Ain-el-Tineh on Tuesday, discussing recent political developments in the country.

They confirmed their strong condemnation of terrorist acts, renewing support for the role shouldered by the army and security forces in that respect, National News agency reported, citing  a joint statement issued following the meeting.

They mainly stressed the need to activate the work of the constitutional institutions, "especially the Parliament, considering the multiple due dates, particularly those related to urgent financial legislations."
