The identities of 177 people killed in the bombing, which ripped through a crowded shopping area early on Sunday, have yet to be determined, while 115 bodies have been handed over to families, Health Minister Adila Hamoud said in a statement.

The suicide car bombing rocked Baghdad's Karrada district early on Sunday when it was teeming with shoppers ahead of the holiday marking the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan, sparking infernos in nearby buildings.
