Following Eid al-Fitr prayers in Tehran, Imam Khamenei stressed that the Islamic Republic will go ahead with supporting Palestine despite betrayal by some Arab countries.

His eminence praised Iranian people for taking to streets during International Quds Day to voice solidarity with Palestine. Imam Khamenei also saluted the Yemeni people who marked Quds day despite the brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition.

“In Baghdad, several hundred families saw the loss of their dear ones at the hands of criminals and terrorists and those who want to promote a fabricated and fake Islam among people at the order of their masters," Imam Khamnei said, referring to deadly bombing in Karrda claimed by ISIL Takfiri group  earlier on Sunday.

“Also in Istanbul, in Bangladesh and elsewhere in some other countries, people fasting during the month of Ramadan came under terrorist attacks," Press TV quoted Imam Khamenei as saying.

“This is the result of terrorism nurtured by security services of America, the Zionist regime and England,” his eminence added.
