Yemen’s National Delegation Stresses Solution Must Be Comprehensive

Yemen’s national delegation to the ongoing talks in Kuwait asserted that any solution must be comprehensive and based on the references of the transitional political process in order to be accepted by all the Yemenis.

National DelegationYemen's national delegation to the ongoing talks in Kuwait asserted that any solution must be comprehensive and based on the references of the transitional political process in order to be accepted by all the Yemenis.

In a statement the delegation added that the solution must include a consensual agreement on identifying the presidency situation, forming a national unity government and a military as well as a security committee, halting the Saudi-led aggression permanently, and lifting the blockade.

Media reports had circulated that the UN envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed would submit a paper that includes military and security regulations away from the comprehensive solution.

Yemen has been since March 26, 2015 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition.

Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.

Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to fugitive Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
