Mujtahid added that Mohammad bin Salman had also ordered Riyadh-led party in Yemen to commit itself to the resulting agreement.

According to Mujtahid's tweets, Salman's offer included halt of demanding Ansarullah to withdraw from the cities they had already controlled and to hand over the weaponry in return of stopping all the Houthis military activities on Yemeni-Saudi Border.

The tweets noted that in the context of the offer, the Houthis must agree that Hadi remains as a figurehead before forming a national unity government in which the Ansarullah representation will be equal to what it controls.

Mujtahid pointed out that Ansarullah movement has demanded the Saudis to pay huge financial compensations for the grave losses caused by the Saudi aggression.

"Bin Salman has accepted that in case the compensations are paid during a national conference to rebuild Yemen so that they will not be viewed as a Saudi yielding to the Houthi blackmailing."

Yemen has been since March 26, 2015 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition.

Thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.

Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to fugitive president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.
