British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond has ended a one day visit to Lebanon. He met with Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri, Prime Minister Tammam Salam and Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil who asserted that naturalizing the Syrians refugees is impossible.

Speaker Berri on Thursday received at his residence in Ain Al Tineh Hammond and reviewed with him overall developments at the local and regional scenes.

Speaking after his meeting with PM Tammam Salam, Hammond showed gratitude for the Lebanese Army's apt employment to Britain's support.

"The army has been translating Britain's support in reinforcing border security and confronting ISIL," he said.

Britain'sBassil-Hammond Foreign Secretary said he tackled with Salam the Lebanese economic and political situation, Britain's cooperation with Lebanon in facing terrorism, and the London Conference adopted plan to support Lebanon in the refugees' crisis.

Hammond also visited Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil who asserted during the meeting that Lebanon rejects all the naturalization plots, noting that the Constitution prevents that.
