Iran Denounces Saudi Mosque Attack, Slams Security Forces’ Negligence

Iran condemned the terrorist attack which hit a Moque in eastern Saudi Arabia which left a number of worshippers killed and wounded.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Hossein Jaberi-Ansari expressed sympathy with the families of the victimns who were martyred and injured in the attack on Imam Ridha (a.s.) Mosque in al-Ahsaa province.Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hossein Jaberi-Ansari

Ansari meanwhile slammed the negligence of the Saudi security forces in fulfilling their responsibilities.

“The repetition of terror attacks to mosques and Husseiniyehs in eastern Saudi Arabia indicates the worrying security situation in the region and negligence of security forces in fulfilling their responsibility in maintaining public security against terrorists' attacks,” IRNA news agency quoted Ansari as saying.
