Qatar’s ministerial council Monday expressed its wondering about Saudi’s, Bahrain’s, UAE’s, and Egypt’s decision to cut their diplomatic ties with Doha, describing it as unjustifiable.
Qatar’s cabinet also said the decision aims at pressuring Doha to give up its political sovereignty, adding that the airspace and the ports will keep open for import and transportation and that the citizens and the residents in Qatar will not be affected by the diplomatic row.
Finally, the Qatari ministerial council stressed Doha’s commitment to the GCC principles, stressing that cooperating with the international community to fight terror.
Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates as well as Egypt on Monday cut diplomatic ties with Qatar and kicked it out of a military coalition, in the region’s most serious diplomatic crisis in years.
